This will mark the fourth time the SCTOBA has sponsored such a race. Lee Christian, President of the SCTOBA, says “The interest in the race has been remarkable. It has given the SCTOBA a vehicle to showcase the job done by many of the fine training centers in the state. We hope this will be the continuation of a series of races for horses spending time in South Carolina. We feel we will have a race in the fall that will make the SCTOBA and Philadelphia Park proud.”

The SCTOBA is sponsoring the
4th running of the South Carolina Residency Races.
The nominations are open to two year olds of 2009 that have
spent at least 90 days in South Carolina by June 30, 2009 at 6
1/2 furlongs on the dirt.
