NEWS AND NOTES - 8/26/08

Nancy Terhune reports that Navy Dame won at Charlestown on August 17th. Navy Dame was coming off nearly a year layoff with one mediocre race under her belt so it was a great surprise. Navy Dame is owned  and bred in WV by Nancy Terhune . Further McKenzie won for Terhune on June 1. He is also a WV bred and was coming off almost a year layoff  .
