Memorial Service Held for Frank Whiteley

A celebration of life was held for Frank Whiteley in Camden on June 7th.  The memorial was held at the barn at the Camden Training Track used by Whiteley.  The service was a mixture of reminiscence and remembrance as Jane Scwartz, Mike Bell, Charlsie Cantey, and Tom Bancroft shared memories and stories about Whiteley.  Frank’s granddaughter Kyle and grandson Seth also shared some of their memories of their grandfather.  The theme that passed through all of these was the respect each had for both the trainer and the man.

To complete the special day the group gathered at the National Steeplechase Museum to watch the Belmont and enjoy a  cookout
