Webb Carroll Training Center and
Elloree Training Center trainees capture Residency Races

Graduates from the Webb Carroll Training Center and Elloree Training Center won the South Carolina Residency Races at Philadelphia Park on Dec 2nd.

Webb Carroll Training Center graduate No Mine For Me won the Elser Memorial by 4 ¼ lengths over runner-up Mr. Boxcar (SC trained at Kirkwood Stable).  It was ½ length back to third place finisher Another Vow (McCutchen Training Center).  Rounding out the order of finish were Road to Richmond (Custom Care Equine), Seneca Sam (Rentz Training Center), and Call Me Clash (Pinetree Stables).  David Ross’s No Mine for Me, trained by Michael Pino, was ridden to victory by Harry Vega.

Elloree Training Center graduate Suzy Smart won the Donna Freyer in a stretch duel with Welcome Inn (SC trained at Webb Carroll Training Center).  South Carolina bred Icy One o Four (Elloree Training Center) was 1 ¼ lengths behind in third.  Another South Carolina bred Hop To (Stono River Stable) was fourth, and Triple Treat (K.G. Furlong) was fifth.  Joel Kligman’s Suzy Smart is trained by James Ryerson and was also ridden to victory by Harry Vega.

The third running of the South Carolina Residency Races will run in the fall of 2007 at Philadelphia Park.
