Residency Race 2006
Early Bird Nominations

After the dust settled and forwarded mail arrived, there were 101 nominations for the Christopher Elser Memorial and 81 for the Donna Freyer Stakes to be run at Philadelphia Park. Nominations from owners in 13 different states were received and 18 different South Carolina training centers were represented. Leading the training centers in nominations was Kip Elser’s Kirkwood Stables with 68 nominations. It is a close battle for the next spots with Donna Freyer’s Custom Care Equine with 24 nominees, Franklin Smith’s Elleree Training Center with 22, and Webb Carroll Training with 22. The regular deadline for nominations ($200.00) is June 30th, 2006. The races will be run on Nov. 4th at Philadelphia Park.
