Constant Velocity Wins SC Duel at Colonial

The second race at Colonial Downs on July 22^nd presented an interesting race for SCTOBA members.  Three of the seven runners in the 7500 claiming race were South Carolina owned.  Bailey Bolen’s Constant Velocity bested Dale Thiel’s Glorious King by a neck to win the 1 1/16 mile race in 1:46.05.  Donald Shuler’s Daniel’s Ace finished 6th in the same race.  Constant Velocity was trained at the Elloree Training center before going to Hamilton Smith at the racetrack.  He was ridden to victory by Luis Garcia.  The SCTOBA congratulates the SC connections of the three runners and wishes them many trips to the winner’s circle.
