Gary Stevens Speaks at Sherman College

Hall of Fame jockey, Gary Stevens, was one of the featured speakers during the annual  Lyceum event at Sherman College in Spartanburg on May 27^th.  Stevens entertained the sizable crowd with a mixture of stories about his racing career and experiences in the movie Sea Biscuit.  He also mentioned to the gathering of graduates and friends of the chiropractic college how chiropractic played a major part in his life and his ability to return to racing after injury.  The evening concluded with Stevens signing his book Perfect Ride and a fireworks display.  The SCTOBA hopes Stevens will take other opportunities to visit South Carolina.
