Coin Silver Runs in Kentucky Derby

John Fort’s Peachtree Stables had its third Derby starter in the last 5 years in the 2005 Kentucky Derby.  Coin Silver ran 12^th but was only beaten by 10 lengths.  He earned a spot in the Derby by winning the Lexington Stakes at Keeneland in April.

Peachtree had previously run second in the 2001 Derby with Invisible Ink and had Wild Horses as a 2002 Derby starter.  The SCTOBA congratulates SCTOBA board member John Fort on his third Derby starter.
