Plimpish Runs Third in the Sissy Woolums

 South Carolina was well represented by Othneil Wienges’ three-year-old filly when she ran 3^rd in the second running of the Sissy Woolums Stake at Colonial Downs on August 6^th.  The race boiled down to Virginia versus South Carolina when there were six Virginia breds and 2 South Carolina breds in the 8 entries.  The race was won by Ghost Breeding’s Partners Due who went the seven furlongs in 123.82 with Horacio Karamanos aboard to win by 5 ¼ lengths.  Second was Rumbling Girl and Plimpish was third. The SCTOBA congratulates the winners and looks forward to an even better Sissy Woolums in 2006.
